3" of snow falls at Monkspath Weather Station.
After some light overnight snow, a heavier, mid morning fall, brought the depth to about 1" (25mm).
The cloud broke just before midday but has since started sleeting again.

The air temperature remains below freezing, the grass at freezing and the ground and sub-ground above freezing.
More sleet and snow is expected over the next few days.
