First Autumn Frost

The first Autumn frost was recorded on the morning of October 20th.

With the air temperature reaching below 0°C at ~5:20am for the first time this Autumn a light hoar frost was recorded covering the top of the grass and air frost on the roof of houses.

The air temperature then continued to drop to -0.7°C at 7:37. The grass temperature sensor, protected by the grass and the radiated ground heat, remained above freezing.
